DescriptionCouncil of Regents/Samurai: This role-playing/strategy game is based in medieval Japan (circa 1600). Each player is a daimyo of a fief. The game is part strategy (you will have to manage your economy and resources, build your samurai armies, conduct trade negotiations with other players and build alliances) and part role-playing (your House Personnel may be invited to attend a banquet by the Emperor or to appear before the Council of Regents. No knowledge of Japanese or even Japanese culture is required to play. 13 years old and up, men and women allowed. If you've seen/read James Clavell's "Shogun" that's the appropriate genre for the game. The game is played on its own forum on a play by post (pbp) forum. A short audition is required. We are a bunch of players from a similar game (different genre) that have been together for years. Hope you'll take a look! |
