Description

The year is 2385. With the Dominion brought to its knees, it is a time of rebuilding and a time of peace for the United Federation of Planets. But how rocky is this peace? The Dominion's allies are amassing in the Gamma Quadrant, the Cardassians have turned into a terrorist race with ships scattered across the quadrant, desperate to rebuild their empire. The Federation is in a rocky alliance with the Romulans and Klingons, but with this alliance comes a rather significant price tag: the Federation has made enemies with the enemies of their alliance-mates, since the enemy of my friend is my enemy.

With a new era of peace with three major powers in the Alpha Quadrant, the Federation is rebuilding -- with the long-run Romulan "cold war" nearing an end, the Federation has begun to reconcentrate on the threats at hand: the ever-growing Gamma Quadrant uprisings, defending its borders from its new absorbed enemies, quelling the Cardassian rebellions and securing the peace it has worked so much towards.

Part of Starfleet solution to its newfound problems was the refitting of several Galaxy-, Nebula- and Excelsior-class starships, along with the creation of a number of new starship classes. These starships are a first line defense, and are armed to defend the Federation as necessary.

One of these such ships is the USS Helios. A recently commissioned Galaxy-class refit, the Helios is looking for a crew to man her. Many of the senior officer positions are still left open, as are a wealth of other positions, ranging from Strategic Operations Officer to Ship's Cook.

We hope you'll visit our website and see what we have to offer. We're looking to start our first simulation come mid-August, so don't be afraid to visit and join up! The commitment is only 1-2 posts per week, and the benefits far outweigh the investments.

Hope to see you aboard!

Jean-Pierre Mercier Commanding Officer
