DescriptionEach player role-plays as a leader of a country. The Game started in 1901, just after the death of Queen Victoria but have just progressed onto 1902. In May 1901 the Austrian Emperor Franz Joseph I attempted to annex the loosely held Ottoman province of Libya, the Sultan refused to relinquish it without a fight. The war quickly escalated, into a major European war and now a global conflict. (Austria-Hungary, Germany, Britain, Romania, Bulgaria, Spain, Serbia, Greece, Sweden-Norway, Japan vs. Ottoman Empire, Russia, France). Yes the war has made some strange alliances. It is now January 1902. German forces are a few miles from Paris, the Ottoman Empire has lost all but a tiny corner of the balkans, Russia is slowly being defeated. |
