Description

Celebrating its 10th Anniversary year, the Federation Role Playing Game is a bright, vibrant online community that is seeking new players to join our adventures!

Set in the year 2421, a new generation of Starfleet explorers have emerged to push back the boundaries of the Federation. The Beta and Gamma Quadrants have been opened to commercial shipping, several new races have applied for Federation membership, and although a cold war with the Romulan Star Empire remains, peace reigns across the myriad worlds of the Federation. Yet on the horizon, the winds of strife are stirring...

The USS DISCOVERY is Starfleet's first deep-space exploration mission in fifty years, pushing into the unknown darkness of the Beta Quadrant, approaching the very edge of the galaxy.

GATEWAY STATION, the largest and most advanced space station ever constructed, situated at the far side of the Bajoran wormhole, is the hub of the Federation's diplomatic and exploration endeavours into the Gamma Quadrant.

The USS PROPHECY, Starfleet's first NX-registered vessel in half a century, is the only starship in the fleet equipped with the new Dimensional Drive - technology that can fold space-time and allow travel into alternate realities.

The state-of-the-art USS PATRIOT is the newest ship in the fleet, first of her class. Instead of being outside the Federation's borders, the PATRIOT's skills are instead turned inward, operating as an emergency response vessel to all the member worlds of the Federation.

The FRPG is a creative writing game set in the Star Trek universe. New players take the roles of new graduates into the fleet, and participate in writing a series of collective stories with their shipmates. With over ten years of a mythos already built up, four active role-playing units, and a clear, concise set of rules, the FRPG is the premiére Trek sim on the Net!
