DescriptionMutation... It is the key to our Evolution. Impatient, Humankind has cracked the Human Genome, seeking the rich diversity mutation could bring. But it has done so at a cost. Humankind's eagerness to exploit its very genetic structure has created a new caste system- one based on your genome. Like a child with a gun, Humanity wields genetics dangerously. Our ethics, our empathy, our growth as a race does not match the lust we feel. Genetics is being used to create races of super-soldiers with powers Humankind should not see for another hundred-thousand years. Such is the price when you play with the powers of Mother Nature. Yet within this irresponsible explosion of genetic exploitation, there stands a group of young men and women who fight for the dying ideals of Republic, of equality for all. An untested unit within the shell of MI-6, Europol and the D-HS, these young mutants seek to maintain the balance of power. Our world is a dangerous one. Some say that World War III has come, its simply a worldwide Cold War. Now these untested youngsters must hold the world's arsenals in check while they seek to defend a growing population that distrusts them. They are X-Calibre.
