DescriptionWe are looking for new players and lurkers for the new game Napoleonic Blood. Following up the game Royal Blood, Napleonic Blood is an ahistorical game of city states in a fantasy setting. Whislt it is not based in our world, there are no fantasy races or powers or magic. The game has a vaguely "steampunk" feel but will basically be a Napoleonic setting sans the history lessons Basically each player can, at this early stage, design and take control of a city state and then attempt to raise yourself up by trading, diplomacy, politics and even warfare Features of city State design: * Pick your government type. Three levels of monarchy, republican, theocracy or even a police state! * Pick your religion! Religion is more of backgroud factor but its easier to form ties with those of the same religion and make wars on those without * Fine tune your starting lands and cities. Weigh up all your picks or just go with the default * Rename your lands, cities and even individual divisions or pass it on to the Moderator Features of the Game Itself * At present we're looking at 3-week turnaround for turns * Millitary units at a divisional scale. Design your own uniforms using a simple template if you want! Each division is rated for its expierence and the quality of its commanding officer! * Chart the rise and fall of monarchistic dynasties. Simmilar to the "Births, deaths and marriages" system within Royal Blood * Simple but intuitive economic system. Trade resources to form sets * Friendly group and hand moderated. The rulebook is a thin one because I like to keep things flexible. So come and join the group. The game is still setting up and there is room at the table for plenty more! |
