Description

The Series is a fictional 10 event Grand Am racing series combining signature NASCAR events and signature Road Racing events.

Participants will control at least one team of two cars. You may control more then one team.

The typical race would work in the following steps:

Event Introduction Qualifying Session 1 - Provisional Pole Qualifying Session 2 - Starting Grid Green Flag Status at Refueling Pit Stop Checkered Flag Event Recap

Each step would start with an email with 1-3 days to post any comments, trash talking, color, strategies, team orders, conditional orders, etc. The "Status at Refueling Pit Stop" step would be repeated 2+ times based on the number of refueling stops needed for the appropriate event. Results will be generated using a combination of dice rolling and computer assistance with the Lambourne Games World of Motor Racing System functioning as the basic game engine. World of Motor Racing System allows me to generate race results with a decent combination of ease and detail.

Guidelines:

Drivers are rated in 4 areas:

1. Qualifying

2. Driving

3. Control - ability to avoid on track incidents, contacts, spins, etc.

4. Care - ability to squeeze the most out of your car without damaging it.

Each team will `build' two drivers by spending points. In addition to the 4 ratings, drivers may have specialties. These are areas where your driver has a special `knack'. Nearly anything can be a specialty: small track ovals, road courses, super speedways, street circuits, drafting, intimidation, etc.

You will also need to name your drivers, assign them car numbers, primary sponsors, color(s), etc
