Description

Global Struggle A PBeM Game - The Treaty of Paris established the USA, and was welcomed by colonies and provinces around the Globe. Resistance movements rose up and seized these colonies and provinces, declaring their independence and forming New Nations. An international system of smuggling and arms traders supplied them with weapons. Success against the Great States such as England, Spain and France lead to many abuses of power and all forms of government from Totalitarianism to Multi Party Democracy. Can you, the new ruler of your nation, take your proper place amongst the Major Nations of the World? Can YOU lead your small nation into becoming the largest most powerful on earth or even the stars? Find out in THE GLOBAL STRUGGLE! The GLOBAL STRUGGLE is an economic/military simulation game with real life problems of running a country such as Laws, Economics, Military, Politics, Social, Scientific Research, Intelligence Networks, and much, much more. You are the leader of your nation, at least in name, and it is your job to see that your country is successful. How it succeeds, and whether or not it survives or whether it will become another conquest, is you prove that you can run a Nation.

The game is much easier than it looks.Turns are sent in weekly with a 48 hour turnaround, each turn represents ONE year in game time. We are an opened ended game environment, meaning players may join at any time either to play an unassigned country or to replace a player that left. If you have any questions just contact the GM at netquest@shawneelink.net . You must have a Spreadsheet Program to play the game, we prefer Excel, but Open Office, MSWorks, or a free Excel Read/Write program that we will make available. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ifn
