Description

MOTD - Master of the Dugout is a Football management game, based around a highly realistic match engine, which uses around 10 'seen' and 50 'unseen' skills per player, full team and tactic/formation selection and changes, substitutions and more, to produce a believable, life-like, match. The matches can be viewed using a text 'match viewer', reading texts files, work is being done to create a full graphic viewer.

The excellent 'front end' means MOTD plays like an online game...offline. There are options for transfers, loans, scouting, and financial decisions to make for your club. Team selection is by a simple mouse 'click and drag' system. The mindless Website will feature updated match reports, league tables, and a News section with reports and press releases written by the GM's and the players.

Added to this is the 'Freedom' part of the game. Like all Mindless Games' games, there is a small element of hand moderation to fill in the gaps that fully computer moderated games suffer from. Beware, though - there's a chance your Actions may go awry... You could buy the star player you have had your eye on a sports car - which might make him beg to come to your squad - but could also end with him crashing it and being unavailable for play for several weeks.

The First season of MOTD is about to start, with many 20 player Leagues to choose from.... English Premier, First, Second, and Third, Scottish Premier, Italian, French, Spanish and German Leagues, and an abundance of Cup Competitions to give everyone the chance to gain silverware.
