The AL (American League) is currently searching out new, fresh roleplaying talent to join it's league. The AL is housed in the city of San Maritus, nestled on the shores of Lake Michigan just north of Chicago. It's here that some of the finest warriors have assembled to compete for the ultimate prize, the AL's Grandmaster Title. There has never been a better time to join the AL and see why everyone loves this game! The AL is essentially a "real time" setting. No futuristic twists and turns, or ancient civilization revistited. Here, we're trying to stay true to the origins of Mystic Arena, which is a lot like professional wrestling, only with deadly weapons. In case you do not know, Mystic Arena is a unique roleplaying environment where you play out the role of arena gladiator. This is the perfect marriage of pro wrestling flash and gladiator brutality. Mystic Arena was best summed up by the creator years ago, "It is like pro wrestling, only with weapons." The American league is a real world, real time setting where you play the career of a gladiator in the American League in it's hometown of San Mauritius.
