DescriptionWar & Peace is a game set to begin in 1783 and which has now advanced to the year 1791 (Nov 1st, '01). This means the game is still in its infancy. New players joining now will have the possibility to make or break their nation without having to bear the past actions of others in mind. The rate of turns is one per week, the Digests are extensive (back issues can be read by clicking to the news/ directory). The Discussion board offers a unique opportunity for diplomacy and OOC banter. Turn sheets are processed by the GM and must be submitted punctually. Economic, social and foreign policy offer enough variability for even seasoned statesmen. Personal contact with the GM ensures that players' desires are taken into account. Many interesting people already assembled, although the dropping out of numerous inactive players has revealed a dozen or so open positions in various heights of power: Russian Empire, German opposition parties, the Swiss Confederation, et cetera.
