A new season in League Five of Neutral Zone Football PBeM is set to start with the draft on 31st August........ I would like to invite you to take a look at Neutral Zone Football PBeM. The game puts you in control of your own football team and is played out in weekly turns, much like a Play By Mail game only with custom designed software to enhance you experience and replace paper and postage costs . I have written the game and software myself with the initial aim of allowing fans of American Football with varying degrees of knowledge to compete in a fun and entertaining way. It has evolved over the years thanks to the suggestions and feedback from the players. The game plays out over 30 weekly turns. Each season starts with the draft and signing of Free Agent players. This is followed by 2 weeks of training camp before a 3 game pre-season. Regular Season is where it gets competitive with 30 teams bidding to make the playoffs and eventually become champion. An All-Pro game is played at the end of the season before a few weeks break are taken and the process starts all over again! Neutral Zone is a Headcoach/GM simulation that has no affiliation with the NFL. Fictunal players and teams are used in the simulation. Some of the features of the game and software are as follows - * Sign, Trade, Waiver and renegotiate contracts of players * Use a scout to provide more detailed information on players or to help you find that player with future potential * Create your offense/defense gameplan with individual plays and set game conditions that can change the calls during a game. * Be in complete control of your Depth Chart for each game. * Statistics in each major category. Individual, Career and Team Statistics. Other statistics kept, e.g. Play Statistics. * Draft Lists and Conditions. Draw up lists of rookies for your draft list and pick those future superstars. * Training Camp and Weekly Training. Improve your players attributes through training camp or game time experience. * View every game play-by-play, read the commentary or just view the box scores. * Keep your accounts below the salary cap during the season and try build that perfect franchise. There is no start up cost, however there is an ongoing cost involved with the game in the form of a turn fee of 40p per weekly turn. This totals £12.00 over a 30 week season. New players are given 4 turns of free play to decide if they want to stay on and pay for the game or not.
