Darna: Dark Skies-Replacement For "Aviatrix"

THE LEGENDARY FILIPINO SUPERHEROINE TAKES THE USA BY STORM....

In the final episode of the "Darna" TV series, Narda, Darna's alter-ego, decides she'd rather live a normal life than be burdened with the responsibility of defending the Phillipines, and the world, from evil. She throws the magic stone which enables her to become Darna into the ocean, turning her back on the superheroine forever. She leaves the Phillipines under the protection of her male counterpart, Captain Barbell.

Six months after the series' final episode, Narda is met with a double tragedy. Her younger brother and her fiance' are both killed in auto accidents, which send the already emotionally-depraved young woman into a downhill emotional spiral. Deciding that she needed to get away from the memories of the deaths of not only her brother and her fiance', but her mother as well, Narda leaves the Phillipines and emigrates to the United States, making her way to New York City.

Narda takes a job as a secretary at Area 51 Investigations, an elite private investigative firm headed by former Alaska State Police detective Walter Townsend. When the Lead Investigator is murdered and he wants to have a more multicultural investigative team, Walter quickly trains Narda as a PI and promotes her to Lead Investigator and sends her on missions with his other detectives. He also assists Narda in becoming an American citizen and connects her with the local Filipino community.

Area 51 Investigations had a heavy caseload. A serial killer who bites and then sucks the blood of his victims, known as "The Dracula Killer", is terrorizing the city, a powerful Mafia family, the Alos, and the city's most notorious drug kingpin, Lionel "Lone Wolf" Finley, and his powerful gang, The Storm, have joined forces.

Extraterrestrials with supernatural abilities and the ability to control minds are operating in New York. They manifest themselves as the creatures of myth and legend. Their leader is an extraterrestrial who manifests herself as both a human woman and a wolf. They are from the distant Kaleb Galaxy, which contains planets reached by top-secret US Government portals called "Stargates", one of which is located in the New York City sewers.

When these villains rear their ugly heads, somebody to stop them will be needed. Narda knows Darna can do the job, but she can no longer become Darna as she no longer has the Stone, which is the only way she can become Darna. And she thinks America should be repaid for all it has done for the Phillipines.

Narda also realizes that she is more than just the young Filipino Narda, She's Darna, and immortal. A Filipino psychic informs her that Darna is within her, that the power of Darna comes from the love that's within Narda, and that there is another way Narda can change to Darna. But Narda has to discover that way on her own. Will Narda find a way become Darna again? If so, helping her will be a motley crew of lesser-known Filipino superheroes who have also found their way to the USA and superheroes from different races and backgrounds called "Dark Justice". Their leader is an African-American superhero.

This rpg is for entertainment purposes only and no copyright infringement is intended. Anyone is welcome. Filipino players will have first priority on positions. This rpg will respect Filipino culture and is intended to introduce Americans to Darna and to promote more multicultural superheroes and alternatives to Marvel and DC Comics.

This rpg is based on the 2005 "Darna" TV series starring Angel Locsin.
