Etcetera - The Kingdom of Trimaris

by Mistress Jessa d'Avondale

Trimaris originated as a region of Meridies in A.S. XIV. It became a principality in A.S. XVI, and was elevated to kingdom status in A.S. XX. The arms of the kingdom are Argent, on a fess wavy azure, a celestial Crown of five points, between two triskeles arronde contourny, environed of a laurel wreath, all counterchanged.

Many awards' badges incorporate the triskele and the colors white and blue from the kingdom's arms. Trimaris kingdom law states that anyone receiving an award is required to be a current paid member of the Society.

Patents of Arms

Patents of Arms are not awarded to departing royalty.

The Order of the Rose, bestowed upon consorts of Trimaris at the completion of their reign, is accompanied by a Patent of Arms.

Grants of Arms

The Crown may bestow a Grant of Arms to recognize exemplary and/or enduring service. Those made Territorial Barons and Baronesses, or given the title of Court Baron or Baroness receive Grants of Arms. The following awards are also accompanied by Grants:
