Greetings Judith!
Thank you so much for your missives... It pleases me to have a sort-of p=
ost-event report from the PDS(TM). I'll keep things fairly brief, since I'm=
sure that we'll be communicating more as the "49 week town run" progresses.
A bigger tent IS do-able.. but the issue will be: where? I'll get togeth=
er with the Grimm's Guy at the November staff meeting and discuss options..=20=
how much bigger can the current space support? Where could we move it to? =20
A corner of the battlefield IS an option, but remember there is no power=20=
on the field.. so in order to light the tent we'll have to use the generator=
.. and YOUR folks will be responsible for fueling it (Pennsic pays for the g=
as, but it'll be PDS's labor) and starting/shutting it down and such. We'll=
set it up, including a hay-bale surround to keep the noise down.. anyway, g=
ive that thought. =20
As regards chairs, that was the failing of the guy who was supposed to ru=
n Technical Services.. (He failed to show, and didn't pass along ANY info or=
requests...) just place your requests for any physical-plant stuff with Fro=
g (or via me) and you'll get what you want. Chairs, lights, dry-erase board=
s, and even new flooring sections can be had. Work on a list and approximat=
e costs, and I'll let you know how much we can affor to do.
Hopefully that answers all of your (current!) questions and concerns.. feel=20=
free to write as time goes on, and if you live nearby, stop in for the staff=
meeting. It's November 9th at 11:00am at Cooper's lake.
Yours,
Baron Devon

  My good lord Devon,=20
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Judith de Northumbria, and t=
his year I took over as leader of the Pennsic European Dance scene. I have=20=
been informed that you will be next year's steward of Pennsic, and that I sh=
ould send to you a copy of the minutes from the planning meeting that we had=
for next year's Pennsic Dance Scene (TM). The meeting was held Friday of w=
ar week in the dance pavillion.=20
Perhaps the most important thing for you to know from the minutes is t=
he fact that we have rapidly outgrown our dance tent, and we could REALLY us=
e a much larger one. Our dance classes regularly overcrowded the space that=
we had, and evening social activities held there definitely overcrowded it.=
I have been informed that the arrangements have already been made for this=
coming year's dance tent, and that it is the same size. However, if there=20=
were any way to purvey a larger tent, we, the dancers (that sounds a bit pom=
pous and archaic, doesn't it?), would hugely appreciate it.=20

  Your Servant,=20
  Judith de Northumbria=20
