Lady Sonya,
The list of dances is good and I love the introduction you offer... Personally,
I will unfortunately be missing war this year (and I must offer that this email
made me miss it even more...your ball should be awesome!)
Please allow me to offer an unrelated thought to the above and below...
Northpass will be putting on another rendition of the Dance Academy next May (on
the 7th to be sure.) Would you desire to teach at this event? I feel bad that
life interfered with your ability to join us last time and so I wanted to take a
moment to ask if you are interested for next time... As was true in the past I
expect a great number of teachers (between 15 and 20) so this is most certainly
an offer not an imposition. The number of attendees last year was 86 and it is
expected to grow for next time (in part because we seem to be expecting local
support and participation this time.)
Best,
Wilhelm

Subject: pennsicdance: Pennsic Beginners Ball
Please forward if you would like.
What: Beginners' Ball
Where: Pennsic in the European Dance Tent
When: Sunday, August 8 from 9 pm to 2 am
The Beginners Ball is your opportunity to explore the joys of dance
available to all. Please join us at Pennsic on Sunday August 2 at 9 pm, for
a ball that is open to all levels of dancers (partners and fancy garb not
necessary). We will dance a lively assortment of dances from Bransles to
English Country to dances from the Inns of Court to some easy Italian
dances. Is all this meaningless to you? Don't worry as this is a 'teaching'
ball. Beginners more than welcome. Music will be provided by an open band
assembled at Pennsic. We welcome musicians to join us in our celebration.
In addition, there will be light refreshments available. The refreshments
are sponsored in part by Storvik.
As the refreshments are sponsored in part by Storvik, it would be great to
have Storvikii come out to partake in at least the refreshments. I hope to
see some of you there.
