Greetings.

In celebration of my Laureling, Lady Adele and I have taken on the
organization of the Pre-1603 Dance Party at Pennsic. The party will start
at 9:30 PM on Tuesday August 12 and will be preceded by my vigil (see
Adele's previous post for more details on the vigil.)

Come eat, talk and most importantly, dance a variety of period dances (the
list of dances follows at the end of this message.) This is not a
Caroso-style ball, so you may dance as much as you like.

If you would prefer to play music rather than (or in addition to) dancing,
we are still looking for musicians. All of the music, except for La
Castellana and Laccio d'Amore, is in the Pennsic Pile. Arrangements for
those two dances can be found at:
http://www.geocities.com/il_ballarino/dance/music/index.html . As for the
Pavan & Galliard music, I do not have any particular preferences
(suggestions are welcome). So if you are willing to play for the ball,
please let me know.

Yay, dancing!
