You have given me much joy and I am infinitely grateful, honored teacher,
for your opinions. But I am heartily sure, that it is sadly influenced by
the fact that you don't know how to dance it. ;)

Anyways, for the Caroso ball, I think as a guildmistress, when I go to
local events, I already have this pressure of doing my 'duty to the crown
and to the sca', by teaching, trying to get more people to dance...
watching out for people who may want to dance but look intimidated, being
encouraging and enthusiastic, asking the quiet ones out and such. But I
think of a Caroso ball more as my time to play and relax and know that I'm
surrounded mostly by dance geeks. Pennsic offers a lot of chance for the
less experienced to learn and dance already. I don't think we're being too
selfish if we keep one or 2 events more dance geek centered.
