Hi all: It looks like I'm going to host a 'real Caroso' ball at Pennsic this
year, that is, the Caroso-style format, with the playlist restricted to
Caroso and Negri dances.

We don't have a timeslot for it yet.

Here's a candidate playlist. The actual playlist will be determined by
negotiation with the musicians, once I have musicians, but do please comment
on this one. Are there pieces you'd like to see added, or subtracted? For
pieces that correspond to more than 1 reconstruction (and it makes a
difference in the music), how many variants are we likely to need?

from last year

> Bella Gioiosa
> Bizzaria d'Amore
> Canario
> Contentezza d'Amore

> Ballo del Fiore
> Galliard
> Gracca Amorosa
> Lo Spagnoletto
>

from another list

Brando di Cales
Contrapassos of various kinds
Furioso

Spagnoletta Regolata
Villanicco

from yet another list

Barriera
Fiamma d'Amore
Fedelta?

and another

Il Piantone
the first part of Pavana Matthei

and because I know some Carolingians like it
