Given that the Ball is Friday, and that the court schedule for
Thursday means the barn is busy to at least 11 pm, I think that the
best night for the English Revel in the Dance Tent, organized by a
cast of thousands, is Thursday night. Let's see, if I recall
correctly, the people offering to work on that included Constanza,
Henry, and the Shire of, er, Hartshorn Dale?
The other party-like Dance Tent activities are:
2 Caroso Balls. No one has volunteered to run one of these yet. I
think that the formats from last year -- a Real Caroso during the day,
and a Caroso-Style in the evening, are good. If no one else volunteers
(that doesn't include you, Judith ;-) I'll run these one last time,
but I would prefer to spread the work out. So if you've enjoyed these
in previous years, please consider helping.
2 night-time parties. One will be run by Judith and Domenico, and will
feature 15th century Italian dancing. The other will be a pre-1603
party, and I'll run that one this year. These parties will be on
Sunday and Tuesday evenings.
I'm laying out the dance classes now, so if you want to sneak in a
last-minute class, plese send it quickly. I have an larger than usual
number of beginner classes, which is fine, but the number of
intermediate/advanced classes is down from previous years.
