I'd like to suggest specifically that we add a basse danse that is simple
(perhaps
only alternating between two measures), and that was done to several different
tunes. There are about a half dozen choreographies that fit this description.
Of course, it should also be one for which a good arrangement can be gotten.
And it might be best to have an arrangement that matches the Italian tempo di
bassadanza as commonly interpreted in the SCA, so that people don't have to
learn from scratch just to do one basse danse..
