pennsicdance: Hosted Dance Party

Hey!  Well, I am very happy to see so many people volunteering to run parties 
of social dancing.  This year only two people volunteered!  On a side note, 
perhaps hosting a French revel instead of an English Revel....Say from 
Arbeau's time.  This way, nearly everything (but the ECD) could be danced, 
from the almans all the way the Italian court dances of Caroso's time, thus 
satisfying thevarious and sundry tastes of the Pennsic dance crowd.  I really 
see no problem in having a dance party every night!
    A note about being deputy...Greg lives in San Francisco now---NO ONE is 
anywhere close to him, and we all only correspond via email anyway.  I think 
it would be a very good thing for you to deputize.  A deputy should know 
everything that the dance coordinator knows, so that if he burns out, she can 
easily take over (my take over had some interesting bumps this past Pennsic).
