I am a rapier marshal, and I have always believed that rapier and
dancing are related - both being studies of movement for different
purposes. I often say that dance causes more injuries than fencing, but
I mean it facetiously. Unless you count the wrestling matches over
authenticity, dance is a fairly safe hobby causing little more than
stubbed toes (tho I am curious about what is meant by "full contact" HitW.
Is that when the palms actually touch? ).
