Given the number of times I've heard about how the dance floor sees more
injuries than the lists (someone just used that the other day to complain
about why fighters are singled out sometimes for required memberships), I
found this interesting.

Subject: [Mid] Pennsic Injuries (was: Membership Fee Increase)
Per the Chirurgeon-in-Charge's report from Pennsic 30, the following
categories caused more reported injuries than dancing:
Camping/walking
Pre-existing illness
Heavy fighting
General illness
Heat
Exhaustion
Kitchen
Play (Children)
Allergic reactions
Fencing
Camping and walking injuries are by far the most common complaint
treated by chirurgeons. With about 400 patients, it's over 4x the next
highest category, Pre-existing illness, with about 90 patients.
