pennsicdance: OOP Dance

With regards to OOP and GOOP dances...

I really feel that the evening dancing in the barn is more of a dance
practice than a recreation kind of thing.  I don't have the knack of
staying in persona during the entire Pennsic War, and I don't really
want to.  Therefore, I feel that doing those dances, which aren't
period yet part of our SCA heritage, should be allowed to be requested
and played/danced.

However, I do feel we need to have places where we can dance just
period dances, a place where we can be in persona as much as
possible.  That is why I like Caroso Style balls and the Masked
Ball. I'd love to see more of those types of venues.

[As a fighter, I go to bear-pit tourney's for practice, but like Pas
d'Arms for being in persona.]
