The vision is that the head teachers will recruit assistants, and yes,
I agree that being an assistant takes a lot of clue and tact.
No, there's no reason to not have people be a head teacher because
they're a good assistant.

Sometimes variations are extremely confusing. Sometimes they
aren't. Some people are so uncomfortable with dancing that they will
simply stop learning if they don't get a long explanation about why
it's OK to have variations. Others learn much more quickly when they
can look at another set and get visual reinforcement for what they're
supposed to be doing.
