True, and if it's arranged ahead of time with the dancemaster in charge,
then fine.  What bothers me is when I'm trying to teach a dance, and
there's a set to the right a figure ahead, a set to the right half a
figure ahead, and the 3 sets who are listening and trying to do what I'm
teaching are hopelessly confused.

Now granted, people talking and not paying attention while I'm teaching
bother me anyway -- I'mparticularly sensitized to it because I teach in a
middle school, so maybe I'm overrreacting here, but it is a pet peeve of
mine.

Agreed.  Usually when I'm teaching I'm dancing as well.
