> The third song is by Andy Stewart of Silly Wizard. I believe it *is*
> called, "The Fisherman's Song", but I've heard it too many times by now
> to remember it by name. With the understanding that it's copyrighted, I
> can probably hunt down and type in the lyrics for you if you don't find
> them elsewhere.

> Greetings, good Gentles of An Tir,
>
> I am in search of the lyrics to three songs I have heard performed at
> events during the past few months. The first one, I am certain the vast
> majority of you will know - "The Birthday Song", or Dirge.
>
> The next one, is a comic song and I am not sure of the title. It was a
> filk, and had to do with Cows rebelling about being turned into steaks.
> I believe it was done to the tune of "Big John (Big Bad John)". Cows
> have fun.... cows got guns.... etc... It was very very silly, but it had
> the entire audience in complete stitches.
>
> The third song, I heard this past weekend at Court of Love. It was said
> to be a favorite in Glymm Mere, so perhaps those of you who dwell there
> may be able to post the lyrics to me. I can't remember the exact title,
> but I think it was something like, "The Fisherman's Song." It had a very
> beautiful, plaintive tune, and it was about a ship that went down with
> all hands, that had sailed Wednesday morning.
>
> Many thanks in advance for any help you may be able to give.
>
> YIS,
>
> May de Blatha an Oir
