minstrel: Brawles?

 I just got back from Pennsic 37 and it was a great year to be a
minstrel. As well as meeting great people and getting my name out
there a bit I spent allot of time playing brawles with the fabulous
minstrel band Wogemut.  

 I had so much fun playing this lively music I was wondering if
anyone had any information of brawle. Such as the history of the style
of where I can learn some more.
