Ron MacKillop has put a bunch of free mp3s of his lute & early guitar playing at: http://www.songoftherose.co.uk/ This guy is a professional; I own his Graysteil album, which has a Scottish ballad "Graysteil" (1497) matched with the music "Grays Tale" from the Straloch Lute Book (1627).
