minstrel: Pastime with Good Company

I stumbled upon a problem that might be of interest to this group:
King Henry VIII wrote a song called Pastime With Good Company" that is
often sung as SCA and other medieval events. It's a very catchy tune
and there are many references to it on the Internet such as the following:

However, I recently found a print of the original music, which is
slightly different.

Note the 17th note. Why is the sharp there? Am I missing something?
