> The First Great History Play in English
>           The American Theatre of Actors will present Christopher Marlowe's
> epic drama Edward II.  Marlowe's play, written shortly before the playwright
> was assassinated in 1593 at the age of 29, shows the results of fatal
> combination of love and politics.  It is considered the first great history play,
> foreshadowing Shakespeare's kingly dramas.
>           Maury Miller plays King Edward and Matthieu Cornillon his lover
