I read Mistress Guernen's post as listing "cerddor" as
a noun in Welsh meaning "musician."

Language is the tool of the poet and lyricist: the
good ones know how to use it with precision. Calling a
musician who does not write a bard is as precise a
usage as calling him a blacksmith.

Can anybody on this list recommend a good reference on
Brehon law?
