I don't have anything currently existing that would be the full
essay, although there are various bits and snippets lying around that
go into the complexities of the question in more detail. To write
the _full_ essay, I'd have to do a bit more systematic collection of
research on the various Irish and Scottish uses of the term. I can
do a pretty complete examination of Welsh usage, and have the
resources currently to discuss Gaulish usage. What I don't have is
time.
