i have a tape of renaissance/mediaeval dance music i made from an old record my family had. i have no idea of the title of the record or anything else about it-in fact i can't find the tape right now. i do remember that the opening number was one i have seen listed as 'trotto' with horns playing the melody(and i think some little parts with bowed strings). the arrangements on it remind me of another tape i have-dances of the court and villages of the 16th century-which i think is from around late 70's. anyone have any idea what the title of this recording might be, and perhaps where to find any other early music recordings pre-mid 80's? i appreciate any help you can offer.
