[Does anyone know where to find decent Guitar TAB for
folk/period/SCA songs?]

That depends on what you are looking for. Most of the big guitar tab
sites have trad and even period material, but since they are typically
set up by song title, you have to go looking for something specific. A
quick glance shows that www.guitartabs.cc has several versions of
"Greensleeves"; I find "Lo, How a Rose" (which is period in German at
least) at www.olga.net .

Other sites:

www.guitaretab.com
www.tabrobot.com
www.tabcrawler.com

My general advice would be to go to a site like Cantaria and look/listen
to songs, and when you find something you like, go to the tab sites and
see if it's there. I'd be surprised to see tab on a site that catered
to SCA musicians; based on the requests we've received, most people who
play guitar in the SCA are interested in chords rather than complete
tablature. My husband tends to play in modal tunings, so when people
write asking for chords, I have to ask whether they want EXACTLY what we
play or the closest approximation in standard tuning, and virtually
everybody opts for "close".
