Amen to that! Lower register rocks!

Susato sells a plastic wide bore recorder, but it is not as cheep as Yamaha.
The only problem is they only come in soprano and alto. You can get those at
The Boulder Early Music Shop, but for some reason they are not on the web
site (www.bems.com), you will have to ask for them (1-800 499-1301). Also
they are harder to control (that comes with playing the wide bore
woodwinds), but they have a louder & fuller low end.
