Dustin,

Being originally from Southern Ansteorra (Shadowlands, with lots of 
play-time with and in Stargate, Loch Sollier, Bryn Gwlad, and Bjornsborg), 
I *really* understand.  Perhaps more than most kingdoms, Ansteorra has a 
popular martial tradition (e.g. Inman Rex Eterna) that greatly outweighs 
its fine bardic tradition (Willow de Wisp, Seiglinde Syr, Cadfan ap 
Morgan (nee Dragonwys), Eirin ni H'eruin, Iolo Fitzowen).  (I'm sure I 
left deserving folks off the list, but I moved to Northshield a dozen years 
ago.) 

Darn shame - folks don't know what they're missing.  But as it's been 
said, there's more than one way to play the game.
