I did a little looking on the Web for this...didn't find lyrics, but did
find other stuff:
There's a MIDI of the tune at:
http://musica-antiqua.org/SMF/JohnDunstable/PuisqueMAmour.html There's
actually quite a nice collection of late medieval to Renaissance MIDI files
at this site, which is Japanese. The main page seems to be at
http://musica-antiqua.org/ but almost all the text, except for names of
composers and pieces, is in Japanese (which I couldn't read even if I
downloaded the Japanese Text Support module in IE!). Unfortunately the
song text seems also to be in Japanese.
I also found a jpg of the sheet music (no words) at:
http://myschwerk.webzdarma.cz/noty/puisque_mamour.jpg (from this site,
http://myschwerk.webzdarma.cz/melodie.html, which seems to have a nice
assortment of SCA-period music in jpg format; lots of texts at
http://myschwerk.webzdarma.cz/seznamtextu.html but not "Puisque M'Amour".)
One more thing, the Classical Music Archives seems to offer sheet music if
you subscribe to their database ($25 a year); take a look at
http://www.classicalarchives.com/early-d.html where they do offer a MIDI
(and the promise of sheet music for subscribers) of "Puisque M'Amour".
MIDIs do not magically acquire lyrics by being imported into a piece of
sheet music, so if I were you I would not spend $25 on the assumption that
this will get you the lyrics.
There the Internet path ended. So...you might have to find Dunstable's
complete works at your nearest music library and get lyrics from there.
