The translation I had heard was,
Come, come, come my love
Come to me softly, swiftly move
Come to the window and away we'll fly
And safe my love shall be for aye.
I know Gaelic is a strange little language, but could 'suil' mean both
"come" and "go?" Hawaiian and Hebrew use the same word as a salutation
and a farewell (aloha / shalom), but 'suil' is a verb...
Brendan (who may learn a smattering of Gaelic if he lives long enough)
