minstrel: Siul Arhuin

One version of it certainly does. However folksongs don't come out of 
nowhere.... I believe the earliest version I have is just inside period, but 
since folk music was handed down from generation to generation it is often 
hard to tell. I have the clannad version, as well as an Altan version. The 
"nonsense" syllables are simple phoneticized Gaelic, and it sounds correct 
when sung. It took me three months to memorize the tune, get the 
pronunciations right, and get all the words into the tune without the help 
of the Phonetic. I just happened to run acrossed it in the course of my 
research. Okay, back to the mundane world, and "packing" for a day trip 
event on the morrow.
