minstrel: History: Bones and Bodhran

Greetings!
     I will be teaching a "How To Play The Bones" class at Pennsic this year, and I'm looking to increase my knowlege of "bones" history. If anyone can point me at books or websites that I can use for reasearch, I'd appreciate it.
     Also, though I'm not giving a class soon, I do give classes on playing the bodhran, and if anyone has a book or site they can recommend on the instraments history, I'd appreciate that, too.
