Are you sure it's Italian?  Bresco is a town in Provence, also (in
Occitan/Provenc,al) the word for a 'mountain pass' or 'breach'.  The
Italian word would be <breccia>. I can't find it as a word in Italian in
any use other than referring to the town, so it seems an odd title for
an Italian piece.
