Greetings, all!

A friend of mine is in search of music, and I've offered to poll the experts
for her. (I believe she is looking to purchase.) Thank you for your time
and bandwidth...

<snip>
Do you know of any place to get obscure music, like alibris for looking for
hard-to-find books? I'm wanting to find a couple of albums I loved in high
school/college, and I'm not even sure if they ever made it to cd (boy does
that make me feel ancient: albums!!). The usual approach,
barnes and noble.com and amazon.com have yielded no success.

Sadly, I can't remember the titles of either, but I know the artists and a
few identifying features.

1. James McCracken (an opera singer) doing Irish and Scottish songs. I've
been able to find his opera albums, but not the celtic one.

2. Archie Fisher (a Scottish folk singer) and Garnet Rogers (a Canadian folk
singer) did an album together. Again a lot of Scottish songs, though not
exclusively so. I believe this is the only album they have ever done
jointly, though I know that Rogers often produces Fisher's other albums.

Both of these albums were issued in the early or mid-80s. So they might not
ever have gotten transferred to cd, I don't know.
</snip>

Thanks again, any and all!

Regards,
~Leceabh
