minstrel: spices and gold & vivat the dream

While we are trading lyrics about, I heard a fantastic song at Pennsic which 
I would dearly love to learn.  I recall neither the title nor any of the 
lyrics, but it was in the persona of a mundane mother trying to explain to 
someone that her daughter hasn't gone totally mad, she's just joined the 
SCA.  Does anyone know it?  I've promised _my_ mom that I would learn it and 
sing it for her.

out at home . . . .
