Greetings,
I write to you from the Barony of Seagirt (Victoria, BC, Canada). I have
noticed the postings looking for Scottish Sheet Music. There are several
resources on the 'net available to you; with most of the sites you will need a
program to decipher ABC format, I personally use Digital Tradition's Folksong
player for this (it also imports midi). In particular I can think of a few which
might get you started:
Ceolas celtic music archive:http://www.ceolas.org/ceolas.html
Traditional Tunes in Midi format: http://www.contemplator.com/tunebook/
Richard Robinson's
Tunebook:http://www.leeds.ac.uk/music/Info/RRTuneBk/tunebook.html
I hope this helps you on your way! Should you have further questions drop me a
line.
Slainte,
Darran 'an Cruit' MacFhioghuin
(Darren Giles)
ps. any other folks out there who know anything about Continental Harps? I have
one that I play but Info is scarce it seems...
