Peace be with you, fellow SCA-Caid maling members, and gifted minstrels!

Here is the second list for the naming of Brazil! I must confess there is one suggestion I like the best so far for many reasons: it is Latin, the best language for Brazil's naming (it's period, it's Portuguese's root language, it's not the Portuguese we use in our everyday lives, it's not Spanish, which would irritate some... well... most Brazilians - Argentina, soccer, you know... - it can be easily pronounced by Portuguese speaking people and the meaning, easily understood), it pays tribute to Brazil's most important feature of all, the rain forest, and green is our flag's main color. Besides, for Portuguese speaking ears, it sounds terrific. Sorry, I'm advocating it already. It's marked with a star sign.
I'll give it another day or so for the arrival of more suggestions and then, perhaps tomorrow, we can have an election. Is that fine with you all? In friendship,

Glaura Branca Pereyra de Santa Maria
