Peace be with you, learned and talented minstrels, bards and storytellers, as well as fellow SCA-Caid mailing members.
I have already posed these questions to the scholar Sela, who corrected Latin in one of the entries. Since she hasn't answered yet, I beg her forgiveness, but I'm very curious for the answer. I have a hunch it will yield a name that could be acclaimed as the winner. I've received a message with an attachment from the SCAHRLDS, suggesting a name conected to trees, for brazilwood trees, or roughly "ember trees", were one of the country's first exports and source of the country's final name. Also, Brazil holds most of the rain forest, so threatened today. Furthermore, green is the main color in the Brazilian flag. The questions are: how would "Forest of the Sparkling Trees" sound in Latin? Or just Sparkling Trees? In friendship,
Glaura Branca Pereyra de Santa Maria, soon to live in a properly, though unofficial, SCA named land.
The honor is to serve.
