Peace be with you, m'lady, and all Caid and Minstrels' list members.

In my first "naming" e-mail, I said "ember", coal or wood reduced to red by heat and burning to the touch, not "amber", a fragrant resin coming from the Middle East, if I'm not mistaken. In a second, e-mail, I wrote of the Southern Cross stars in our flag and our firmament. Also, about Brazil's first names: Ilha de Santa Cruz (Island of the Holy Cross) and Terra de Vera Cruz (Land of the True Cross).

Keep the suggestions coming! In friendship,

Glaura Branca Pereyra de Santa Maria

The honor is to serve.

I'm leaning towards Praia de Ambar. The "A" should have the /\ symbol over it, and I may not have conjugated this correctly. My understanding is in English this would be Beach of Amber. M'Lady Glaura is more expert than I at english/portugeuse translation.

Altho it seems the Caidan tradition is geographical direction (Southron Gaard, Western Seas). Still, it is a "place name" descriptive, incorporates the amber for Brasil...mmmm just my thoughts.
