    Vivien et all,
Greetings and well met!!! I am pleased and excited at the response,
thank you for all of the good advice.
As far as the group goes.... We are mostly female , its Soprano and Alto
voices. There are some of us who can read music (I played clarinet and
bassoon in High School). Most of us have church or other volunteer type
experience. Last night at practice we started separating into three part
harmony, this is a lot of fun!
I was intimidated by my lack of education with type of music....I
didn't know where the baudy stuff was applicable (it's fun at demos and
such). I did know that most music I heard about had been preserved through
    the churches.

I can't remember who it was that suggested drinking songs... we have a
couple that are fun to jump into. Thanks for the added info. I am looking
    forward to finding those sources.

    Constance,
I will be looking forward to meeting you at spring faire. E-mail me
privately so we can get together......
Yes, we have room and one lady commutes from Novi to participate. There is
also a madrigal group at Cynnabar (Ann Arbor), they will be at Spring Faire
    as well......
